Overview

Fast Lambert’s Solver for heliocentric missions
Bullseye combines ephemeris data with a Lambert’s problem solver to determine the interplanetary trajectory between two bodies for a given time of flight. Ephemeris data for eight planets and Pluto are included for your convenience.

Built-in search routine to locate optimal opportunities
Quickly explore a large set of potential interplanetary trajectories. Simply set the appropriate ranges for departure date, time of flight(s), and surface stay time if applicable.

Simulates either one-way or round-trip missions
Two simulation modes are available. The first simulates a single interplanetary trajectory (useful for cargo missions). The second couples an outbound trajectory, surface stay, and return inbound trajectory (useful for crewed or sample return missions).

Easily eliminates candidate solutions that do not meet requirements
Place ranges on departure and arrival dates, trajectory time of flights, and surface stay times. Additionally, maximum allowable C3 values and delta-V’s for any transfer segment can be specified.

Custom body ephemeris data
Add your own custom destinations, such as asteroids, by including appropriate heliocentric position and velocity data.

Introducing swing-by capability (Coming Soon)
Supplement your project with gravity-assisted swing-by missions. Narrow down thousands of options with a genetic algorithm optimizer built into Bullseye. Challenge traditional conceptual planning with greater freedom and significant productivity enhancements. Attain answers for trajectories and system level questions within seconds.

License Information
When you purchase a Bullseye license, the term of the license is annual renewable. An annual renewable license refers to a license in which a regularly scheduled annual renewal fee is due in addition to the initial purchase price in order to maintain the license. The renewal payment is due annually on the anniversary date of the original license purchase. If the license is not renewed on or by the anniversary date, the product will cease function. Any renewal payment received up to 60 days after the anniversary date will still be considered a renewal; however, please note that the payment will be applied to the original 12-month term, beginning and ending on the anniversary date of the original purchase. If the software is not renewed by the end of the allotted 60 day grace period, the license will be deemed to have lapsed and full payment of the license fee will be required for reactivation. License-holders will be notified well in advance of the annual expiry date, as a reminder to make payment prior to license expiry.

Free version updates and dedicated technical support will be provided to license-holders as long as they maintain an active license for the product. Both single and site licenses are available for purchase. Please see our price lists for more information.
